Descriptions of classes


All Levels Flow Lunch Break

This lunch flow class provides a way to step out of your day, mindfully move & connect to your breath, core & more. Class promotes strength, flexibility, balance & play; may include surya namaskar (sun salutes). The intention is to leave feeling refreshed & reinvigorated, ready to take on the rest of the day.

Yin Yoga & Yin Yoga Lunch Break

Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to other forms of exercise & yoga. In Yin Yoga floor poses are held passively for several minutes to safely and positively ‘stress’ deep layers of connective tissue in the body. Physically, Yin Yoga is about restoring and maintaining mobility of the joints, primarily between the navel and the knees. Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system, enhancing and supporting balance & harmony.

Rather than a series of postures, you can think of yin as a mindset/methodology, emphasizing stillness and silence, preparing both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation.

Note: the yin lunch break provides a way to step out of your day & connect body & breath to the yin mindset, leaving you feeling refreshed & reinvigorated to take on the rest of the day.

Flow Foundations

Whether you’re new to yoga, have been away for some time, or simply want to reconnect with the fundamentals, this is the class for you. In this series you will learn safe alignment, breathing techniques, how to connect to your core, cultivating strength, flexibility and balance. Detailed instruction and plenty of guidance & support. Come learn or (deepen your understanding of) flow foundations for a safe and long lasting yoga practice.
